Scoring

Electronic Scoring

Most scoring for the electronic administration is completed automatically by the database. Assessors are no longer required to score student responses. However, all writing items must be scored manually by the QA administering the assessment. All written products are saved for each student electronically and presented to the QA with the scoring criteria in the Data Entry and Manual Grading section.

*Due to internet and device specific issues, it is recommended to print a scoring sheet found on the 'Materials' tab and follow along as the student answers items in case manual data entry is needed.

Paper/Pencil Scoring

Assessors are no longer required to score student responses. Data entry is completed in the 'Monitoring' tab of the or.k12test.com site, or the 'Data Entry' tab on the electronic test app (see the Data Entry and Manual Grading section). Data entry is completed by selecting the student's response of A, B, or C. Writing items are the only items scored by the administrator and will have 0/1 options for data entry (see the Data Entry and Manual Grading section).
