Data Entry on Electronic App

Electronic Data Entry

Data entry for the electronic administration is automatic in most cases, as the system stores the answers selected by the student. As mentioned above, data must be entered for all writing items (scored 0/1). Though it should be very rare, as QAs are expected to use the electronic administration practice tests to determine whether students can access the tablet well in advance of the test window, there may be a very small number of students who begin the electronic administration and the QA determines that the student will not be successful in the electronic administration format. If the tablet administration is discontinued and the student completes the assessment via paper/pencil, the QA should use the ‘Monitoring’ tab on the main dashboard, or the ‘Monitoring’ tab on the or.k12test.com training site to manually enter student responses.

Item Administration

If the item was presented to the student, but the student did not respond, the assessor will need to select 'No Answer'. All items not presented and left blank will be coded as Not Administered and will not count toward minimum participation.
